A Brief History of Casa Gabriella

Casa Gabriella’s owners acquired this wonderfully serene property in the Historic East Side.  They love art, beauty, and architecture, and their desire to bring these joys to others was the inspiration behind Casa Gabriella.

Casa Gabriella is zoned Arts & Crafts, thus giving it the perfect opportunity to showcase not only art, but Judy and Gabrielle's books: Gabrielle’s Magical Pets, A Mother Goddess for Our Times: Mary’s Appearances at Medjugorje, and The Light: A Modern Day Journey for Peace.  John, Judy, and Gabrielle lived overseas for many years before purchasing this picturesque adobe.  For them, Santa Fe feels like a close knit European village with American ambition.  It is their hope you will find it home too.

Casa Gabriella is an excellent choice for classic Santa Fe ambience.  Built in the Territorial Style, it is the perfect jumping off place for shopping the unrivaled Spanish and Indian Markets.  Stroll down Canyon Road, which is a mere one-eighth mile away, and indulge yourself in Santa Fe’s world-famous art market.

The decor in this refreshing hideaway is an eclectic mix of Southwest Provence.  Seven full French doors and 18 skylights allow the light to stream in, while wood floors are complemented with exotic furnishings and beautiful Oriental carpets.  There are seven fireplaces, six antique Mexican and Southwest doors, and art… fabulous art. The separate downstairs Casita, complete with 10-foot ceilings and adobe walls, is a fully self-contained unit and can be rented as a perfect addition to the main house.  This home is an ideal retreat, a perfect family reunion location, or an intimate conference setting.
